More info about zlob which poses as a safe video codec.... which is said to be needed to watch some certain video.... and will also pose itself as a safe antispyware program.... a real bitch to clean up.... it will often times recreate itself upon removal....

I bought Norton to protect our new business computer - and it let in a major trojan the first week I had the pc! It caused irrepairable damage to the hard drive, so the pc was replaced by the supplier and I've never used Norton since.

A good one to protect your pc is AVG Free Edition - totally free download, no trial period and it has kept our pc bug free for well over a year now, no problems and it catches bugs and automatically sticks them in the vault before any damage can be done - even when you go to visit a page that AVG considers risky, it stops the download before it can do any harm. It's saved me a lot of hassle and worry about surfing anywhere on the web too. Plus I know a lot of us haven't got a lot of spare money to throw around, and a lot of UK businesses are using this free edition - good enough recommendation to me!

AVG (free.grisoft.com) is a very good antiviris along with the Windows Firewall which comes with windows XP and up.

It's what I use, they are free and good companies.
