Posting Guidelines and Etiquette...


Introduction: Welcome to Dautie!

This Forum was created to have an open community for all people.
A place where you can share a joke, a cartoon and interests.
A place to discuss, educate and debate the issues of our world.
A place to build lasting friendships.
Maybe in some very small way this will help break down some of
our intolerance, prejudices and misunderstanding that can at
times cloud all our thoughts. Just a simple set of guidelines
to make your visit here all the more enjoyable.
All posting rules as to content, especially mature content will
be strictly observed. Adult content in The Adult Club; erotic
content in Erotica Club; no mature content in general areas.
Please refer to the posting guidelines below for rules on content.

All Forums:
The word ‘Toon’ is derived from cartoon; meant for humour and
thought provoking media. We do not tolerate fighting, harmful
bickering, or harmful posting. Please be mindful of the various
age groups that are present within these threads. Please keep
posts relevant to the forum it’s posted in.
Please leave any bigotry at the door. Bigotry, be it Religious,
Racial, Gender, Nationalistic or Social in tone, will not be
tolerated under any circumstance.
We will not tolerate personal attacks or intimidation of one
member to another. Blatant personal attacks are an ongoing cause
of ‘Flame Wars’ and will not be tolerated. Members who habitually
snipe at other members may be removed from the Forum. Friendly
horseplay is acceptable of course, but the practice of dropping
in on a thread just to berate or intimidate a member is not allowed.

A severe blatant personal attack or violation will be grounds for:
1st time a warning
2nd time banning from Dautie
Take any hostile dispute to PMs,
IMs or e-mail.
If you feel that you have been in any way offended or slighted,
then contact us. If you don’t and you forget about the rules,
then you could end up being in the same situation as the protagonist - Banned.

The blatant hijacking of another members thread from their original theme will
not be tolerated. Some threads may however diverge over a period of time and
this will be monitored by the Moderators and acted upon if needs be.

The author of the thread may change it's orginal theme within reason.
Owner reserves the right to monitor this and act if it's to
extreme of a diversion from orginal theme.

Any thread topic which we feel breeches the spirit of the Forum will
be removed. Reasons why will be sent to the member who
started the thread.

Think before you post. Will my post inflame a situation or
offend anyone? If it will or if in doubt then don’t post it.
Think before you post comments like "I’ve seen this post
before" on a duplicate thread. On a growing forum such as
ours we are going to have duplicate threads. So there are
duplicates; maybe some members didn’t see the first one.
Please keep rude comments to yourself.

Banning
Continued violation of any rules could mean a banning
from the Forum. For those that have had their rights
removed for posting within the Forum there is a banning
period to serve:

1st time banning period 30 days,
followed by 30 days probation
2nd time 90 days
3rd time permanent removal
...Owner reserves the right that if any violation or offense
is severe enough, the banning could be permnent on a
first or second time....

If you have anything to say regarding
these Forum bannings then please PM ADMIN.

General Areas:
This includes everything in the forum except The
Adult Chamber. These areas are for jokes, stories,
personal events, lively debate, thoughtful words
and general news and interests. It is not for
adult explicit content including language,
writing, sexual cartoons or sexual images.

The Adult Club:
The Adult area is for content of a mature nature
and otherwise not suited for minors. Light sexual
content is allowed which includes
images of breasts, behinds, and mild frontal pussy.
Slight view.

Not Allowed:
We will not accept any hardcore sex material. This is
including, but not limited to picture of close ups
genitals (penises & vaginas), erect penises, slit shots,
cum shots, explicit pussy shots,
spread leg shots, masturbating, fingering, hardcore
nudity, acts of violence, S&M, all sexual acts, bestiality,
child pornography, pain and blood, and bodily functions.
All pictures posted must be professional models.
No amateur picturesincluding
web-Cam pictures. Also no members pics of a sexual
nature.

Erotica Club:
Erotica Club is for more explicit adult content that would otherwise
be removed from The Adult Club. Any pictures we find questionable
will be deleted. Cute, sexy, funny, post it all but nothing grossly
raunchy. Simple nudity, visual depictions of simulated sexually
explicit conduct, Ladies "pink spread", penis pictures, "Cartoons"
of porn (so long as it doesn’t interfere with the other standards), Alsoi if the intent of the image(cartoon or funny pic) is to be humorous, and it shows penetration or body fluids the image will be allowed. It must funny.
If the image is just of people having sex(showing explicit penetration), that is not allowed.
We will be a bit more lenient on Artwork, but nothing
gross or extreme.

Not Allowed:
These items will not be permitted in any area on this forum:
- Vaginal Sex, oral sex, anal sex, armpit sex. If you cannot see
the penetration or the genitals then the picture is acceptable
as the act is most likely being simulated.
- Any vivid masturbation including self-masturbation
and assisted masturbation. Vivid meaning scenes of semen
shooting out. No deep insertions. Light pussy finger
touching is ok. Light Stroking ok.
- Any bodily fluids - i.e. semen, urine.
- Any photo or video content that involves anyone under
the age of 18. This includes sex, beach shots, bikini shots,
or girlfriend pictures.
- No beastilty
- No incest
- Self-mutilation or any mutilation of any sex-organ or any body part.
All pictures posted must be professional models. No amateur pictures
including web-Cam pictures. Also no members pics of a sexual nature.
This is not allowed because if a picture is posted without the person’s
permission the site and staff can be held responsible. We would
rather avoid a situation as such. The administrative reserves the
final decision on the acceptance of individual pictures.

Thread Moving and Deleting:
Any thread found to be acceptable by the forum guidelines
but determined to be in the wrong area of the
forum can and may be moved. The author of the thread
will be informed by staff and a redirect link will be
left in the previous area for a short period of time.
Any thread found to be completely unacceptable will be
soft deleted . The author will be informed by staff. WE WILL
TRY VERY HAR TO KEEP MOVES TO A MINIMUM

Spammers:
Spammers will NOT be tolerated. They will be dealt
with swiftly and with extreme prejudice. All
spammers will be permanently banned.

Posting Limits:
Members are allowed to post(start) 5 threads per day, per Forum.

Conclusion:
If anyone has any doubt about what forum to put a post in or
where to start a thread please feel free to ask any of the staff.
We have created a great sense of community here and
I want that sense of family and community to thrive and
grow. We are all adults here and should act like it. Show
our children how they should behave and act toward there
fellow human beings. Just stop and think before you
personally attack someone. "Is this how I want my child
to see me? Is this how I want them to act?"

Guidelines on Stats, Snags, Tags Etc.

Stats, Snags, Tags etc. What is acceptable to post, what is copyrighted, etc.

What is a Stat.??
Stat is short for stationary. Stats or headers were made
for the soul purpose of being used in incredimail or outlook
express,think of stationary for your email....when they are
snagged or ripped(altered or names etc. added) they are a lot
larger then just tags. A stat comes through some email
programs. A lot of stats are shared just among *groups* Yahoo
Groups, MSN Groups, etc. with the sole purpose of only
being used in e-mails.

What does ripped mean?
Ripped is a term meaning *an image has been altered*
glitter added, names, etc.

What is a Tag?
A Tag is a creation made from an image that has been ripped,
your name added to it, or glitter or animated, etc.

What is a Blank Tags?
An image that has not been ripped yet

What are Tubes?
An image that is made as a seperate layer that can be used
as a master so that you can add different backgrounds, masks,
text etc... and then saved for a graphic program that you can
keep it in layers. Example:Tubes-Tubes are pictures that people
use to make tags. To make a tube,you have to take a picture and
take everything around it out of the pic,so you just have that
one thing.Then,it is saved as a .psp image or .tub so it will
be transparent. The reason for that is so when a person copies
it and pastes it on something,it is clear and just the
thing itself shows,not a white background.

Altering stats:
If you know an image is a stat, and you know the artist
DOES NOT WANT to share the stat or have it alterted, it
would be common courtesy to respect those wishes in
The Siggies, Snags Forums.

Please keep stats intended for viewing purposes only,
outside of the Siggies, Snags Creating Forums.

On the issue of copyright...
In Copyrights Law there is a section , it's called *Fair Use* of a
persons copyrighted work......allowing anyone to use the work for
* purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching
(including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or
research, is not an infringement of copyright.*..as long as
it's for non-profit. And Dautie is Non-Profit!!!
*The Fair Use Doctrine provides secondary authors and creators
with the privilege of using copyrighted material in a
reasonable manner without the copyright holder’s consent*

What is not allowed;
We will not allow any copyrighted works to be sold.
We will not allow any Orginal Artists Copyright to be removed
and replaced with yours or anyone elses Copyright..in other words
claiming that the original work is yours. We will not allow
any Creations to be sold on Dautie, it's all free
Or Claiming works are yours,
As an Example: Just because someone snagged a picture they
found on the web or in one of the threads in here say of a
model or actor/actress...does NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES mean
that picture is soley theirs alone.. if say I found a picture
of Jennifer Anniston and tacked my name on it and put fancy
glitter and stuff on it and put it in my siggy .. but another
person also had that picture of Jennifer anniston and fixed it
up her own way I DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT to claim the picture cause
i "had it first" or accuse them of stealing it...

Rules For Snags and snagging:
1) When you post a creation of yours TO BE SNAGGED, IT IS AVAILABLE
FOR EVERYONE TO SNAG, not just certain members. What I mean by
that is *no discrimation* on who can snag your creation.

2) ASK IF IT"S OK TO SNAG FIRST: Following up on #1 .. if a member
makes a creation and their wishes are that you ask first if you can
snag it...the right thing to do is abide by the creators reasonable
wishes...the best and right thing to do is ask the person who made
it if you can snag it!!!! I am an artist/cartoonist myself and I would
not be pleased if someone used my work without asking. 99 artists out
of a hundred are more than happy to share when asked!!!.

3) respect the artists and follow the creators reasonable wishes
and reasonable rules with snagging. ok!!

4) I will not allow the constant intimidation or harassment of
a member/artist to another member/artist in the Sigs areas Keep
your disagreements to PM’s, IM’s etc.

Comments:
We are not the web police as stated above. In this information age
where so much is shared on the Internet it's impossible to know who
owns copyrights to what, what artists share or doesn't share his work.
There are some artists who do not want their work to be shared to be
altered. If you know an artist does not want his work to be shared or
altered, as a courtesy to them respect these artists wishes. If you
aren't sure ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rules for Signature Pictures…..

1) All Signature images must be tastefully done. We will allow
bare butts, bare back-side. In the General Forum areas we will
allow frontal nudity on males, with the gentials covered and
frontal nudity on females, the nipples on breasts must be
covered, and vagina must be covered
(Example: With Stars ) .

2) We will not allow any hardcore sex material. This is including,
but not limited to picture of close ups genitals (penises & vaginas),
erect penises, slit shots, cum shots, explicit pussy shots, spread
leg shots, masturbating, fingering, hardcore nudity, acts of violence,
S&M, bestiality, child pornography, pain and blood,
and bodily functions. It is not for adult explicit language, writing,
explicit sexual cartoons or explicit sexual images.

3) Dautie ADMIN reserves the right to decide if a Signature is
not tastefull. Any Signature image that we determine is offensive
and violates the guidelines will be ..First) The member will be
asked to remove it. Two) The member will be given 48 hours to
remove it, if he does not we will.
