I have a very large elderly special needs cat, he will need to be given his special food, and his injection - twice a day. Plus hairball medicine. [and at times clean them up] I have
him on a pretty good schedule now; also needs his box
emptied; and cleaned out once a week. And NEEDS his
playtime !!! It's very important that he have as well rounded a life as he possibly can ~ as I know he still has a number of good years left on the planet !!! Often, his needs will come before my own ~
but, that is because he means the world to me !!!
So it is important to engage him in some playtime activities - when he is reading (had proper nourishment & naps) and then he LOVES to play !!!!!
I can show you some of the games when you get here. Depending on how long my right arm/hand/shoulder will be immobilized . . . I may have to show you how to clip his claws ~ ALTHOUGH, he is getting a NEW post (he's only known a tall carpeted one) -- and I 'finally' found one on e-Bay !! YAY Plus I needed one with good height - so I hope this will work out fantastically !!!
SO: Here are another few basics for my place:
1) Non-smoker (of anything) SERIOUSLY
2) Light, and I really mean Light Social Drinking
may be okay ~ if it gets out of hand ~ it will have to stop !!!
3) No Drugs - unless they were prescribed to YOU (only)
4. No Street - Drug Usage either
5. No Parties.
6. Sleep-overs - will discuss
7. PLEASE, no taking of something of mine 'thinking' it belonged to you !!!
8. As you will be basically be 'chief cook & bottle washer' - please keep your area clean.
9. Please don't go digging through boxes and stuff - I have had A LOT of items go MISSING as a result !!!
10. Your Room & Board is covered [as well as gas for the van] ~ so depending on how long I would be needing you/my Post Op Care Person . . . I think we can negotiate a weekly rate.

Time frame to get this rolling with the 'UC-System' could be
around mid-September [when my primary comes back from a long over-due vacation to Hawaii]
